Payment Options
RAM offers three secure and convenient payment methods: Bank Card, Instant EFT (Bank Transfer), and PayShap.
1. Bank Card
RAM accepts South African MasterCard and Visa credit cards, as well as cheque or debit cards that have:
• A CVV number
• An expiry date
• A Visa or MasterCard logo
To protect you, RAM uses 3D-Secure authentication. This security feature verifies your cardholder details within your bank’s secure environment - RAM never has access to your card information.
2. Instant EFT (Bank Transfer)
If you prefer not to use a credit card, RAM offers a secure Instant EFT option. This service allows you to pay directly from your bank account in real time.
• Simply select your bank and follow the guided steps to complete payment directly to RAM.
• Available to customers who have Internet banking with the following banks: ABSA, Capitec, FNB, Investec, Nedbank, and Standard Bank.
3. PayShap
RAM accepts PayShap for instant, secure payments using your banking app.
How to pay using PayShap:
1. Open your banking app and select PayShap as the payment method.
2. Confirm the payment amount and proceed.
3. You’ll receive immediate confirmation once payment is successful.
PayShap payments are processed in real time, 24/7, and RAM never has access to your personal or financial details.
Important Notes
• Ensure that you have sufficient funds in your account to complete any online transaction.
• Make sure your once-off payment facility is activated if required by your bank.
• All payment methods are protected with Thawte and EV SSL encryption certificates, providing a high level of security.
