FAQs
1. What am I agreeing to when I submit my shipment?
When you click Submit, you are confirming that you have read and understood RAM's Standard Terms and Conditions and all legal documentation associated with your chosen service. Here is a plain-language summary of the key terms:
Service
RAM will provide the service you have selected, subject to our Standard Terms and Conditions and legal documentation.
Risk
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, shipments are dispatched at the shipper's own risk. RAM and its personnel are not liable for any loss, except where that loss is directly caused by RAM's gross negligence. No insurance, liability option, or indemnity is provided by RAM to the shipper in respect of any of the services.
Cancellations
Once payment has been made, a courier will be dispatched for collection. For this reason, all payments are non-refundable. If no one is available to hand over the parcel at the agreed collection time, a collection fee will still be charged.
Changes to collection or delivery address
If you need to change your collection or delivery address after booking, this can be done but will incur a charge equal to the new delivery charge.
Incorrect chargeable weight
If the weight or dimensions you provided at the time of booking turn out to be incorrect, RAM reserves the right to charge an additional fee based on the correct chargeable weight. Your parcel will not be delivered until the correct service fee has been paid.
If the correction results in a lower fee, the change fee still applies and no refund of the difference will be issued.
Prohibited items
You confirm that your shipment does not contain any prohibited items. Click here for the full schedule of prohibited items.
Restricted items
You confirm that your shipment does not contain any restricted items unless you have RAM's prior written consent. If you need to ship a restricted item, please refer to Clause 6 (Packaging) of RAM's Standard Terms and Conditions of Service. Click here for the full schedule of restricted items.
